My name is Arnell Smith. When I was 18, I was at a small church in Plymouth, Michigan. When the pastor was preaching, the Lord touched my heart and I went to the altar. My life was never the same. I knew I had found a better way in Christ. I didn’t understand it all at the time, but as the time went on I learned through Him that all things are possible.
December 20, 1988 was a time in my life I needed Christ as never before. That was the day my 17 year old daughter was killed in a car accident. It felt just like I was gonna loose my mind, but the Lord’s mercy kept me and helped me. Had the Lord not been in my life at that time, I probably would not be here. But, He comforted me, and His love and mercy can help you through anything you face in life cause you’re not alone. He’s always there.
My daughter is gone to be with the Lord and I will see her again some day. The Lord has blessed me with 6 grandchildren that have put some joy back into my life. I thank Him for His great and wonderful love and mercy. |
